Loved the AU - very different, yet so much the same. Really enjoy the way you developed the new bits of characterisation, the way the brothers are that much closer here, but still miles apart in some areas. Dean researching on his own, still protecting Sammy, still keeping his promise not to say a word.

Jess' POV was great for coming into this cold, as she did, being able to connect the dots with the parts that confused her.

So, does Jess survive? Do the boys go hunting? So many questions, so much of a whole 'verse to explore. Thanks for sharing - now get writing!

Heeeeee. Yes, there's definitely quite a bit more of this to explore. And a few surprises as well. We'll see when the next story makes it to actual words.

OMG AWESOME!

Wow, I totally loved this fic--you did such an extraordinary job building this alternate universe, different from but with recognizable elements from--the core of--the canon universe we know.

There was some really lovely characterization going on here, and the story unfolded just right, the reader learning more about what's going on here just as Jess does.

Lovely job, I look forward to other fics in this 'verse!

Thank you. There's still so much of this 'verse that I know already (and much that I don't, yet) that didn't make it into this story. For once, I'm actually pretty sure there will be a sequel -- it's already about half-formed in my mind.
