Holy crap!

Wow, I did *not* see that twist coming, although it makes sense, and wow that was intense, on every single level. Whew.

I can believe this of Mary, if she really thought this was her fault-- for John, vengeance would've been enough to start hunting, and justice. For her, from what little we know, the motivation would have to be different, and keeping Sam and Dean safe would do it, as well as punishing herself.

Love the Ellen voice, she *is* the right person to tell this part-- anyone else's reactions would be too weighted to be able to tell the story straight. Love Sam coming into his power just a LITTLE sooner. Meg is so, so, so dumb. Heh.
