Okay, that literally knocked the breath out of me. And I do mean literally. Oh, and Ellen and Mary working together is simply too, too perfect. :-)

Again, this is fantastic, you've got elements from the show *waves at Gordon*, all re-arranged and re-ordered to be seamless with the world of the AU. Everything fits. All the things that happen in the series timeline are still happening, with the slight alterations. Ellen, I can hear Ellen's voice in her dialog, and her POV is spot on. Your Mary is not only perfect, she's so perfect that she's the Mary we saw in 4.03, and you posted this about a month before 4.03 aired. Dean and Sam's conversation with her, and Dean's revelation of what she told him when he was four was just wrenching. This is truly a fantastic AU.

Thanks! I remember being a little put out with 4.03 because it totally jossed some of my Mary details. . . . But good to hear the attitude still rings true even if she's a Harrison in this instead of a Campbell and all that.

Ah, but see, if she'd gone back to her real maiden name rather than becoming 'Maggie Harrison' It would have made her easier to track. So she still is 'Mary Campbell' but using the name 'Maggie Harrison' There. Retcon complete. *nods*
