Forgive me for asking, but are guns easy to use?

As long as you've got hands and a pair of eyes, you're pretty much all set. Hitting anything is another story but practicing helps.

[Wolfwood pauses, conceding something.]

Not much use in close combat, though.

[Unless you happen to be him but that's a long story.]

As long as the person is unlikely to hit themselves, I do not think it matters. It would be unwise to draw an enemy into true combat without proper experience, but it sounds as though these weapons would be good deterrents.

[He makes a thoughtful sound.]

Safety catch usually prevents that. As long as they're careful and they do regular maintenance, it should be fine. Yeah, I wasn't exactly planning on sending anyone out there with just a few hours of experience under their belt. It's just in case it comes to that.

[Wolfwood wouldn't disagree, for the most part. If they had better guns available, it'd be a different story but most of the ones provided are meant for medium to long-ranged attacks.]
