I donated blood and the phlebotomist made my blood shower all over my arm the moment she pushed the needle in. That was the first time it ever happened.

And she said "Good thing I didn't get any on your shirt"

I hate it when that happens. :(
My best friend is a phlebotomist and she said it happens all the time, especially since she's left handed she can't always get the best angle, hahaha.

Haha yeah, I didn't get mad.. I just thought it was amusing she was worried about my shirt first. Since I was wearing white. ♥♥

Ooo, goodness! One time I was donating to the Red Cross and my vein kept "rolling" and apparently the technician was pretty new, so she kept poking it and poking it until my vein finally collapsed. O_o But yeah, I keep going even though I have these tiny ass veins that always gives them a hard time--but I'd feel even MORE guilty if I didn't at least try, haha.

Lol my veins are tiny too! One time, they had to switch me out to 4 different people.. cuz all of them were scared to put the needle in my vein. Everybody was looking at me.. lol!
