This is just lovely - I love the sense of history it has, all the ways they've changed, but also all the ways they probably haven't. I love the glimpses of their earlier relationship, the way they used to be friends and the way they used to fight. Well done.

Oh, goodness, this was just unspeakably lovely. The pace, the phrasing, just-- all of it is wonderful, and it's so careful and the way they are with each other after all that time - I read this a couple days ago but did get a chance to leave fb then, but it has been lingering in my mind ever since. Just gorgeous.
