My trip to Glee Live: Photos and Rambling
I hadn't really planned on doing thing but...
I should probably start by saying that about a year and a half ago a family member died leaving her husband and three young children. If I then tell you that my grandfather was diagnoised with a terminal illness the exact same day you'll realise that I wasn't having a particularly good month. Around that time I decided to give a quirky looking show called Glee a chance and after one episode I was hooked. I kinda became a bit obsessed perhaps partially in an effort to cope with all the other crap going on in my life. So when I saw that Glee was coming to England, excited was not the word. My friend and I booked tickets and waited... and waited and waited. Unfortunately she broke her leg and it wasn't fixed up enough for her to be able to come.
Now my bf does not like Glee, personally I don't think he wants to like it but that's another story. Anyway he bravely volunteered to go with me so off we went on an almost 600 mile round trip to London to Glee Live.
I should add that any good, half decent or okay photos were probably taken by him, the rest are mine.
There were a couple of other people there too.
Most of the shots are of Chris Colfer because my bf knows he's my favourite but doesn't know who anyone else is.
I loved this bit so much and I don't even like this song! The background was amazing, just stunning.
See? Awesome. Okay so you can't really see but trust me it looked amazing.
Well my bf certainly liked this part of the concert :D Her dancing was incredible as is her body.

Double swoon! Chord looks so hot here, I didn't really notice how much at the time being focused on Mark but Phhoar!
They were so close to me :D I'm so dumb or blind that I didn't even notice that the main stage was a mock up of the choir room. I felt like such a dumbass when I got back to the hotel and was flicking through the pictures. My bf of course noticed and assumed it had something to do with the show so laughed at my amazement.

I swear my heart grew three sizes at the adorableness that is Kurchel!
It was really hard to get a half decent picture of Cory he kept jumping around, I have a zillion blury ones of him so I must have had the camera at this point.

I don't particularly like Sam with Quinn (I love Sam/Kurt) but they were so cute on stage. My bf stopped taking pictures for a while coz Kurt wasn't centre stage and for some reason he didnt listen when I asked him to take pictures of Sam and Puck so I grabbed it off him and began snapping.
Good lord can Amber sing. At one point she was on the little stage in front of us and sang Aint no way, oh my heart! She was spectacular, just beyond words. It was hands down the best performance of the night.

I absolutely loved every second of it. It was the first concert I had gone to where I actually wanted to go rather than just going with someone to keep them company and I'm so glad I went. It cost quite a bit after traveling and hotel expenses were factored in so it ended up being a belated bday present from myself :)
I was a little surprised by how high Lea's voice was but according to my bf (who knows far too much about everything) it was just sound distortion. I also must admit that I was disappointed by Chris' rendition of I wanna hold your hand, for quite a bit of it he was out of tune but he was so cute saying hi to people, waving and leaning over to shake hands. To be fair he sounded great when he sang with Lea so maybe it was nerves or he couldn't hear himself. Anyway I love him so despite that he can't do wrong in my eyes!
I don't really know what else to say, although anyone reading this probably has had enough and is just staring at the pretty pictures so I guess I'll just leave it at that!
