Everyday when I look into the mirror, it suddenly dawned on me that I most probably come across as a cheerful, couldn't-care-less air stewardess. It's a no brainer job. How much brain power would I use and consume in this highly procedural job? Everyone looks on the bright side of my life. Everyone looks at the glamorous part of the job. Deep down ( Read more... )

awww mama!

we are always here. even when we don't know what's exactly going on in your life, even if we have not talked in a million years, even when we don't know what is exactly making you upset/angry/sad/happy/crazy at the moment, even if we havn't met up in a million years, bottomline is we're always here! and because we're here, we'll try our best to help make head and tail of it and try to understand it and be here for you.

we've missed you, like lots. :(

but we know your schedule's mad and all. so whenever you're free, just contact us, we're just a message/phone call away. :D

p.s. there's prolly gonna be like a huge gathering at the end of the month, cause hell, mel's coming back & some people too are coming!!! :D

I'm sorry we didn't get to meet up while you were in LA. =\ Did you stay in Anaheim?

It's hard to admit loneliness... especially to yourself. Though I don't share your lifestyle, I do share your sentiments. I may have friends to do stuff with. But at the end of the day, they all go home to their families and their signficant others, while I have no one. I might not understand you completely, but you're not alone in being alone... maybe, in some backwards way, you can take comfort in that. *HUGS*

Thanks Nat. In a weird backward way, you're right. And I don't mean to make light of our situation but in a way I do feel better with what you said. Thanks a million Natz.

*Hugz*

Yes I did stay at Anaheim which was so far from the airport! But I did go to Brea Mall and South Coast Plaza. So I guess not so much of a wasted trip.

Yeeeah that's far. Haha. I've only been to South Coast a couple times... but everything seemed too expensive and I never bought anything!

And you're welcome! It does suck. I'm not sure why I still put myself through it - I COULD just move home. May you and I have similar reasons for sticking it out. :)

*hugs* oh hun, I wish we always have more time together but seems to be snatched moments here and there. Seems like that for a long time already. but you know you can always come to us for anything, even if I'm not right there. ♥ can't wait to see you though, bring on the 20th.

It's worst when you're all alone in a foreign country. All the shops are closed and you're jet-lagged. You're all alone in the hotel room. The TV plays nothing but TV in their own language and your friends are all sleeping with the time difference. Sighz.

And yeah! Can't wait for the 20th!

Yeah, I know how that feels. Very much like when I first moved to Perth, or prob like when you first moved to Melb.

You're right, I've always only looked at the glamorous part of your jet-setting lifestyle. It never occurred to me how lonely it might get sometimes.

But having said that, though we might not be as close, but if ever you need a friend or just a listening ear, I'm always just a call away. =)

But thanks so much for the concern Kirsten. All the best in your life :)

If only Dee would go for the SIA interviews with you then, maybe you two would have been colleagues by now.

But then again, with you two on board, I can forsee all sorts of mad laughter in the crew cabin area, lol.

Hope you have a better 2008 =)
