Unfortunately, the weather looks set to get worse! We haven't been affected too badly by the current weather system where I live, we've just had some rain, lots of wind, and chilly weather. I would love to get some snow, but I think that will be bypassing us too!
I really hope you feel better soon. I'm sure you don't need me to tell you to keep warm and get lots of rest!
What a lovely photo! I am so sorry to hear about your ear. I have Menier's Syndrome, or chronic labyrinthitis, starting in '86. It's rather been more in remission just recently, *knock on wood* - and you have a virus or something?
I have had so many horrible infections of the ear. I've got much of my hearing loss and damage from that, and they are so painful. You have my sympathy. You know, heat does help the pain. It overrides the messages from the cranial nerves to the brain. The nerves can only transmit one message at a time, and heat has priority over pain, so if you put a hot pad on there or something of the sort, then you feel less pain - at least until your meds kick in. I hope you can see a doctor about it.
Oh friend away :) I was going to ask you the same thing! I saw you on the crochet comms too. Although I do less crochet these days and more knitting I still read them. Great icon too :)
