Not your casual reading, there. (or maybe it is, whaddo I know?)

Say--tried sending you email at the addy you provided and it kept bouncing.

Hiya, you're right, it's one of my biology textbooks. I preferred your horticultural quote!

That's so annoying about the email bouncing! My email addy is belle (underscore)marmotte (at) hotmail (dot) co (dot) uk. It's a UK hotmail addy, so there's no dot com at the end ;)

The nearest book to me is A Short Guide to a Happy Life by Anna Quindlen, and since it's a short guide it only has 50 pages. haha. :D

The nearest book after that is a Heroes tie-in novel titled Saving Charlie by Aury Wallington. The fifth sentence is a bit of dialog. "I told him the article I read said an antivenin had to be given in the first three hours, but he cited a study at Baylor that refuted that."

You're not boring! You're educational. <3

I laughed when I read your bibliography!!
BUT then I mis-read it and was going to write back to you in an excited manner to tell you that OH oH oH I've done E206 but then I read it again and that's not what you said !!!! hahahah

Glad you're doing the reading! (or at least the book is propping up your coffee)

"Morning to you sir; I hope there is nothing wrong with the harness?" the young man asked.

I believe it was but since I'm only at p30, I'm not so sure!! Anything could have happened by then! (It's a book about Dragons and their place in the Napoleonic wars. As you do, . . .. . )

What a fun idea!

"From a mere sense of consistency, a persecutor is bound to show that the fallen man is a villain otherwise he, the persecutor, is a wretch himself"

Vanity Fair - WM Thackery

Read it years ago and had the book out as part of my latest decluttering efforts :)

Ooh, now yours has the quality of a proverb there. It's quite stand-alone for a random sentence!

Heh ... passing through several LJ sites for the first time and came across this site.

I find myself drawn to MeMes.
