I truly dislike being involved in political arguments.

And, one can be a democrat and attend Texas A&M University. It's possible, I swear.

I want to hear more of the argument you speak of. And I know what you're talking about- I attend a liberal arts college, yet seemingly everyone I encounter is a conservative. I can count the number of liberals I've talked to on one hand. :{

I was just arguing with my cousin, who is in her mid to late 30's mind you, about who to vote for this upcoming election. We were just totally disagreeing on all values across the board. I am an informed voter and I know what I am talking about but when someone presents numerous statements with no backing as to why they believe what they do, it is difficult for me to argue with that.

She said that democrats help people that do not deserve to be helped because they do not work hard. She said that we should be in the war right now to protect ourselves from mass destruction. She said that Obama's middle name is Hussein and it scares her. Ridiculous.

Plus, she is an ex-Aggie and so she made a big deal about how I am a democrat that goes to A&M.

Buh.

She has a point with the Hussein thing.
