Jarrett's gone. He was the only person that wrote me like he did. We emailed and kept up with each other's lives but when he told me he was going to Afghanistan I didn't think anything of it. I told him I would pray for him. He laughed it off and said no need because he would be back for sure. I don't even really know how... We had class together,

All I know is that he died in Afghanistan sometime today. He enlisted in the army after we graduated high school and was in Alaska up until April of this year. I would have never guessed that I would cry so much hearing the news. Being so young, I guess we never expect people to die at our age but it definitely happens :C

but since there is nothing we can do to change the past, look at it this way: he was a very brave and courageous man and will be remember that way :].
