I qualify for a community block grant for up to $30,000 in home repairs. The main focus is bringing the house up to code and removing any asbestos and lead paint. I don't have any asbestos, but there is a ton of lead paint in the cellar and on the window frames in my sun-room. As far as bringing it up to code.. the house is 159 years old, trust
