Ok, ya'll. As you may, or may not, know, I auditioned for Grease on Thursday and got called back to read on Sunday. I now have my biggest role in a musical to date :) I'm in the ensemble, but I'm also playing Patty Simcox, the Rydell cheerleading captain, on alternating performances. I wouldn't blame you for dropping Japanese. You could always take it next semester when it fits into your schedule. However, don't let your mother or anyone tell you what your limits are. If you're truly dedicated and really want to learn, you'll somehow make it work. And the sooner you start learning, the closer you'll be to understanding.
But Japanese is a big venture. If you drop it this semester, I could teach you some basic stuff and you could be ahead of the game in the Spring. You'd also have an entire semester to learn the kana as opposed to just a few weeks.
If you decide to drop it, I say more power to you. I hate to see you all sick and stressed out like this! I'm starting to worry about you.
When do you have to decide?

They are taping Grease, though they'll probably tape when I'm in the ensemble. I'm going to ask my dad to tape it too, so that tape will be like Grease, starring Tanya Wheelock.
