It's just plain awesome...I praised it in an lj entry I made several days ago. Even if you're not into Lord Of The Rings.....no, even if you're not into Fantasy itself, you'll likely enjoy it, It's that good. LoTR is pretty much the star wars of our time, I'm sure decades from now people will still be talking about it, it sucks that's it's finally over though....the only possible extension is if they do a "The Hobbit" movie, and Peter Jackson's interested in it, but it still wouldn't be the same. Oh well Now I just need the extended edition to come out already ^_^, I guess that's when it's technically over.....

Oh, and what's Garnet day anyway? I also didn't understand it much, He's just supposed to go with the elves to another part of the world, or another world itself? supposedbly because he never fully recovered from the stab he received by the Nasgul in the first movie, the Fellowship.

It wasn't only because he hadn't ever recovered from his wound. He just couldn't ever be the same, worriless hobbit he had been before he left on the journey. There was no way for him to relate to any of the other hobbits there because his burden had been so much heavier then all of theirs.

Frodo left to go live with the elves. See, when the ring was destroyed, the time of the elves was over and the time of men had begun. All of the elves had to leave Middle Earth. Gimli (although they don't tell you in the movie), Frodo, and Bilbo went with them.
