I haven't updated in what seems like forever. I guess I'm just lazy. Or maybe its because I've had so much on my mind that I don't really know how to put it all down. I've been trying to be strong and keep a smile on my face, but its getting harder and harder. I think its time to pour my heart out. Am I looking for sympathy? I don't think so ( Read more... )

Relax for a bit. If being a doctor or a lawyer isn't really working out for you, then don't do it. If you're having that much trouble with school, take a leave of absence, and, if you decide not to go back, withdraw. The fact that you blew off class only means that you're not in a place for school right now. You have a lot on your mind, and some time off will do you good. With a leave, you will be able to come back should you decide that school is what you want to do.

As for your parents, let them know that it's bothering you this much. Work out the issues you have, and take the time off if you need it.

As dumb as this may sound, finish college and then follow your dreams. You can do whatever you set your mind to, but it never hurts to have backup. Even if you change your major to something pointless, just do that to finish up school. It rarely matters what your degree is for.

Anyway, college is halfway over. If you take summer classes, you can finish up school in a year and a half.

It is important to realize your problems so you can work on improving them. Since you are a strong person, maybe looking at your problems from a new angle will allow you to cope with them more effectively. You can handle them.

BTW, I realized I was a Puzzle Fighter geek when I realized I could come up with this analogy: Problems are like Puzzle Fighter. They often pile up, but there's always a way to knock them down. So what if you lose one round? There are unlimited numbers of other rounds to try again. Fail once, try again and win.

Eh...not bad for an awful analogy.

Also,

Mr. Gruff is an atheist goat who loves coffee instead of god.

Therefore we must wear his clothing! Feel better or I'm going to get you a Hopsiah shirt and insist you wear it all the time. :) Even worse, I'll stick the 'Kangaroos are from Israel' sticker all over your stuff.

That is all.
