So, as you've probably figured out ... I don't post much here anymore. Partly because for awhile there I slowed down my obsessive fanction reading habits, partly because my real life has eaten me and spat me back out so many times in the last 2 years ... it doesn't even begin to reflect funny

Thank you so much for the rec! I wasn't sure of the reception of this fic. It's not a pairing that has a lot of fans, and the subject matter is bleak (although I think it ends on a hopeful note), but it rings very true to me. I have a difficult time accepting Ron and Hermione as a couple, given how dissimilar they are. It seems to me to be a relationship based on history and circumstance. Not that they don't love each other, I just don't see the future being that bright.
