I missed it...what was so delightful about it?

Also, in place of paperwork and office troubles are auditions and busy scheduling difficulties that draw time away from your personal life - not to crush your image, but just to show the pros and cons of every job.

busy scheduling difficulties? like what? concerts and things? that sort of paralells to meetings for regular jobs. and auditions are just like interviews, just shorter.

haha I think i'm contradicting myself. but I think musicians like what they do so much that they don't mind auditions and concerts, because, if you've decided to be a professional musician, you're in it for something other than money.

I'm not really sure what i'm trying to say. oh well!

It's delightful cause you get to do what you want to do. People don't often go into music if they don't like it because then it's not rewarding. I realized that the people who are musicians are rewarded by what they do, even if there are things like practicing that I don't like. nothing secret about it.

Usually people go into a profession that they are passionate about. Like nursing for example. Its not always a glamorous job because its filled with paperwork and mundane tasks but its so rewarding that it all just pays off. You found that job as a musician.
