Counting down the hours
It's finally Friday. This has been a very long week. I don't know why. Probably because I've been staring at the clock a lot. Hopefully, I'll get some much needed rest this 3-day weekend. Maybe not. Another day, another dollar
Not very motivated to work today, for some reason. I mean, I'm doing my work and answering client calls, but I don't know. I feel very blah~. I just want it to be the weekend already. It's a 3-day weekend too. I can't wait!

Judiciary committee passed the bill. Now, it's open for debate on the senate floor. More than anything, I just want all priority dates be current.

Am realizing that I don't enjoy going to clients as much as I used to. Seriously dreading tomorrow! -
Sore
I had a really good massage yesterday. The therapist really beat me up... in a good way. She really got the knots on my neck and back, but I'm really sore today. I'm hoping I'll be better tomorrow 'cause I can't take tomorrow off due to deadlines and meetings. Powerball
So, the powerball is at $600 million right now. We pooled about $5 each from each employee. It's just so funny how everyone is all already fantasizing about the possibility of winning. It is a lot of money, but the probability of winning is 1 to 175 million. Either way, it would be really nice to win. -
Friday
It's that day when I stare at the clock until 6pm. Well, actually, I have a doctor's appointment at 2:45pm, so maybe I should just let the front desk know that my appointment might run long, and I might not be able to come back to the office. I've had this headache since this morning. It's more tolerable now, but it's still distracting especially since I have a deadline to get inventory reconciled by tomorrow. I am not a very happy camper right now. Maybe I should pop two more Advils just so I can focus. Dang it... -
SIMPLE FACT
There are times when I miss the Philippines. I miss the close friends and relatives over there. The many memories that we had made me homesick quite a lot when we first started here in California.
