Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson supposedly are divorcing. Call me a sucker, but I always feel sad when people who are married don't work out. It makes me start doubting my relationship. But, then I think, I am making an effort, and so is Dan, so I shouldn't worry. Still, I felt sad for them. They put 3 years into their marriage, then it fell apart

Aw, that is sad about your mom being that way. Have you tries writing her a letter telling her about how committed you and Dan are as well as how much you miss being closer to your mom.

You could tell Nick and Jessica were doomed just from watching their show Newlyweds. They were too different and he was too quick to make fun of her when she did something ditzy/cute. Then there was the whole business with the stripper and the porn star that really killed their marriage. You could tell she didn't really love Nick any more after that.
You and Dan will make it no matter what.

Aw, thankie...I give them kudos for trying though...and yea he was a tad bit mean when she was being herself. He knew who she was when he married her. The are 7 years apart, so that is part of it, I'm sure...Oh well...yea and the stripper thing totally killed all trust and whatnot. I know we will make it, I just feel bad. No one should have to divorce. It's so hard to deal with...you have a great Turkey day too! I hear you have only ramen noodles! :O If you lived here, you could come over. Dan's boss gave him a free turkey! :)

I was kidding about the food situation. Since my family is all working today and have the week-end off, we are doing the turkey feast on saterday.
