I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Mine was ok; I was out all day doing pet sitting jobs, and poor Dan was left to do most of the cooking (He did a wonderful job!) and I felt so guilty. Most of the pet sitting went awesome, except for one. There was this woman in PB (the beach) who wanted me to walk her dog Bailey Thanksgiving evening. She ( Read more... )

You don't have to have any plans with me. I have to figure out what I have to do workwise. They just don't want you sitting at home and then hear us whine that we never saw each other...:)

I think the only lesson you learned was not to pet sit for that chick.

I know! I kept thinking, what is the lesson I am learning? I wasn't sure what she was thinking...whatever. It was Thanksgiving, I had been working all day, I was not in the mood to be told how to do my job by someone who decides to come home early because they had "a bad feeling" about their dog. LAME

I think maybe her dog is her soulmate. She must have felt an overwhelming urge to go to the bathroom and known that her dog did too! Good thing she rushed back so quickly or the dog may have been left alone for another five minutes! Dear god!

Oh my goodness! Good call about not working for her anymore. I think I would have been more upset than you were. Knowing me, harsh language would have flown. : )

I don't agree that the woman won because you cried. I think you expresses your feelings about what she said to you by crying and that conveys a lot. Maybe there a a few ways of looking at an event like that. One is to somehow stay tough and feel like a winner (men may tend to be more like that) and the other is to convey how you feel to the other person.

I favor communication because I find it more satisfying and I don't have to stuff feelings.

There's another aspect of all this, too. Often when we are troubled by something, we need to be able to talk about to someone who listens to us without judging or commenting. That's probably waht you need (the latter).

Yea, I do need to talk to someone who doesn't judge or comment. Dan usually isn't like that, which is why I was SO upset. He was having a hard day too, so I can kind of understand. At the time, I needed him to be his normal self...and I think there is nothing wrong with me crying. I had a lot of stuff in my mind, and that was the icing on the cake, and I just broke down

It is located on the hill
of
mission valley. Our balcony has a view over the valley. The Clubhouse
is
at the top of the hill overlooking the majority of the valley. We live
in
Escala Circle within the Escala development. They are the new town
homes
across the street from Costco. It is just west of the Chargers Stadium
and
just east of the shopping; both a couple of blocks.

That is a nice area. It is near two malls, and only like 5 minutes from the beach and Sea World by the freeway. I would love to live there! Also, you can get downtown pretty easily too...:)
