I can't even remember my 16th birthday. I don't think I did anything out of the ordinary. Except that my dad took me to a Paul McCartney concert the next month, which was my big present. Tell Lisa that your friend who has never met her (have I?) wishes her a very happy birthday. (There is so much pronoun confusion in that previous sentence that I'm not even going to try to fix it.)
I would call you, but since I've come to college, I've developed an irrational fear of telephone calls. Do know, however, that if I weren't batshit crazy, I would be calling you up all the time.
You'd be surprised at some of the crazy phobias I have. But I have no idea where my fear of phones came from. I haven't really had any traumatic phone-related incidents in the past eight months. But every time I dial a number, my brain thinks up ten different reasons why I should not hit the call button. It's rather odd.
I would LOVE to hang out with you! Are you doing something for St. Paddy's Day on Friday night? Let me know! Bonnie and I are def going to drink it up and all that, so...YEAH!!!! OOOH YAY ME = EXCITED!
We're having an Irish themed all day kegger in one of my friend's apartments near Seton Hall, but I'll see what I can do. I'll be free Saturday, too cause I never do my homework until Sunday anyways.
OK, I may still be able to see you on Friday night if I don't drink too much during the day on Friday (kegger starts at like 3 pm). We'll figure something out, it's too cool to pass up. ;-)
In all honesty i had to ask my mom what we did for my sixteenth birthday. apparently i did a lot. but of course you forget some stuff as the years go by. I feel really bad because i did have to ask her and she told me everything that we did. it was embarrasing that i had to ask her about all of it.
you know what does make me angry though? the whole sweet sixteen show on mtv. makes me very angry.
I know you will make Lisa's birthday extra special. Your a great sister to her.
I hope you have a wonderful with Bonnie in New York! I know you will!
Lizzie gave you a surprise party! Remember? I hid under the pool table. :P
I hate that show. HATE HATE HATE.
:) I think it's been a good one for her.
I will!!!!!!! YAY NYC!
ps :) It's cool. I think I was more upset that the only calls I seem to get are from people I don't really like, and less that people don't call me. I didn't mean to sound pitiful.
oh i remember that! i didnt actually want to go over to lizzie's house. but i do remember. you gave me my bill and ted poster.
Ive always had a problem with calling people. and sometimes i dont call people back because i dont want to talk to them. I dont know why I dont call people back. its a horrible thing. Ive been working on it for God only knows how long. It really just hasnt sunk in. I guess sometimes i think that having this kind of makes me think that im staying in touch with people so there is less of a need to call them. maybe i just need a good slap or something.
dont worry you dont sound pitiful. people love to get phone calls.
I make it a rule not to return phone calls if the person didn't leave me a voicemail, unless it's my parents and sometimes Sunjay. There are some people I don't call back because I want them to leave me alone (yet they still don't get that, weird, huh?). You don't need a slap, Mear, you need a hug. *hugs* There ya go, all better. :D
