:D :D They both look so serious in the drawing, but the text took the serious mood away. Heee! I also laughed only a little at John's braid. When it's down, would he have a long "tail" of hair, which naturally sticks out all over the place? (Um, I'm not familiar with Star Wars, so if the braid has an important meaning... I'll just stop talking now. ^^")

I love the fabric folds on Rodney's cloak and John's garment. And John's hands! <3 (It'd probably be weird for people to wear wrist bands in Star Wars, huh.)

The braid is part of the hairstyle that Jedi Padawans are supposed to wear... though, of course, fandom has often noted that human Padawans have a hairstyle requirement that non-human Padawans never could, so there goes George Lucas being creative but not quite consistent again...

I saw elayna answered the braid question. I can imagine, possibly, at some point John getting really frustrated because it seems to have a mind of its own -- he's trying for all this serenity and crap (as a good little baby jedi) and his braid just twists up.

*face palm* I forgot about the sweatband.
