I have that Queen opening clip from the Oscars saved on my DVR (along with Rami's acceptance speeches from all this year's award shows) and watch them nearly every day. I've been watching the Oscars for at least 40 years and I can't recall a more impactful opening. They had the audience in the palm of their hand from the first stomp, stomp, clap. Everyone in the audience knew exactly what was coming.

I love the second Adam clip, too. I seriously doubt that at this point there is anyone who doesn't know who he is and what an excellent musician he is.

And yes, there's not many that won't recognise their opening songs. I was slightly underwhelmed tbh, but then that's probably because i've heard the songs on numerous occasions. .. There's no doubt that they fit the occasion beautifully!!

Indeed I do. And one of my favorites is his BAFTA speech. I have now seen all of his movies and TV work, too. I was very surprised at how much he's done.

That was such a fun opening at the Oscar's. I was thrilled when Rami won.

Love how Adam rocked "Blue Suede Shoes".

I've yet to see Green Book and have no doubt that Viggo is excellent in it, but Rami definitely deserved to win.

Adam is a huge fan of Elvis. I bet he was thrilled to be included in the Tribute :)
