He sure has. The Queen must feel so alone now, even surrounded by family, and suddenly so mortal. I was saddened to hear this news.

It is sad, though not unexpected as he's been ill for a while. I can't even begin to imagine what it'll be like for The Queen.

They've been together for so long; I can't imagine how hard it will be for her without him. I was so sorry to hear this.

After almost all their lives spent together it's not going to be easy. I feel so sorry for her.

She is such a strong woman, I wonder if she’ll step down from royal duties & let Charles handle things.

She is strong but her sense is duty is legendary. Perhaps she will step down but I wonder then how she will spend her time without her constant companion. Time will tell.
