What I get annoyed at is people making slash out of everything. I think it annoys me most when there's a great canon het couple and people are all, "__ and __ are so otp! They're so gay together!" and then it's just like, two hot guys who've barely spoken. Also, sometimes guys are just awesome bffs. NOT EVERYTHING HAS GAY SUBTEXT. I was thinking about this yesterday because I read House fic. House fic is so often completely disgusting. Why can't House and Wilson just be best friends? If I have to read about Wilson stroking House's gnarled knee one more time I'm going to cut my fucking wrists.
