I did have a great time, though I wish the final outcome had been better for the Friars. I'm really becoming attached to Citizen's Bank Park--easy to get to and easy to get around! It was quite hot during BP, but the clouds came out just often enough to bring everyone back from the brink of passing out. I had hoped to get Cla Meredith (called up Sunday, just in time for my trip!) to sign my (his!) PawSox jersey, but wasn't in the right place at the right time during BP. I did go up to the right field stands where you can see into the bullpen and waved it to him--his response was somewhere between appreciation and amusement, perhaps with just a touch of embarrassment. ^_ ( ... )

Glad you kept that camera of yours safe from the rain! I saw that Cla Meredith was called up when Alan Embree went on the DL. Dave Roberts is just back from his stint on the DL. That's 2 of the 3 World Champs. Yikes! Let's hope Mark can stay healthy. (knock on wood) and can get his bat going again soon. I think all it will take is that 1 hit. Keeping the faith for the Bell.
