So. I made it home despite a horribly long flight. SO long in fact, that I finished my Agatha Christie novel and ended up turning on my laptop just to organize my documents...then my photos...etc. I now have the best organized laptop in the w...my room

last night some friends and i were watching chocolat. there's a scene where johnny depp is offered some chocolate, and in a smoky irish accent to melt my hetero-heart replies "chocolate?" in a suprised and inquisitive manner. my friend cooly mused "and to think he'd grow up to run a factory." a moment of silence as we comprehended this trans-cinematic slow-roaster of a joke yielded to vollied giggles from the living room.

..anyway..

before i remembered the depp-tale i was planning to tell you about how my mother and stepfather had appropriated my desk as a workspace for their uberchristian extracurriculars in my absence. when i got home for break there was all manner of sacrament and study strew across my trusty shrine to studious cogitation (or scrutiny in the interest of alliteration.) a secular exorcism was needed to return my room to its former state of godless disrepair.
..in essence: i hate when my parents touch my stuff when i'm gone too.
