And good for you, with the homeschooling. What idiot decided it would be a good idea to punish a child for defending himself in a non-physical way? Seems like they should get a re-evaluated job performance. With all the other things you mentioned, I'd be doing the same thing.

This principal guy is notorious for laying down the law in an even fashion for all involved parties, no matter what they did. He claims he "isn't there to determine who is right or wrong." He just doesn't like being put into tough situations. I have no respect for a man like that.

When Peyton was in 2nd grade, a group of girls got into a scuffle with one little boy. Peyton's friend, Caleb, pulled one of the girls out of the mix and proceeded to break up the fight. He got 2 weeks of recess detention as did all involved. The reasoning? Because he made physical contact with the little girl.
