They don't speak often, if at all at this point in time. Katie's met them once or twice at family gatherings, but doesn't associate with them. They have no offspring as far as Katie or Eammon are aware.)
Her parents (both retired now) have a house near Plymouth on the coast. It's quite large and foreboding, but Katie's parents are inviting and great hosts of large social gatherings. Katie, however, though was always their priority, didn't have a lot of close contact with her parents. She loves them and they love her, but she's become closer with them since she's made a name for herself and her own money through her reputable establishment. She's actually invited to their parties now, which was never an option when she was in school. She and her brother were looked after by a nanny instead of her parents, especially on nights of fancy dinners, fundraisers, and other such functions.
Both of Katie's parents were supportive of finding and killing Voldemort, but were inactive in actually fighting. They contributed financially to the cause, but were otherwise fairly neutral.
Katie has an older brother, Eammon Bell (PB: Andrew Lincoln), who has a daughter Katie is quite enthralled with, named Elladora (PB: Jasmine Jessica Anthony). Eammon's late wife, Elisabeth, was a casualty of war. Both he and his wife were involved in the fight against Voldemort. Their daughter is now eleven and about to start Hogwarts. Elladora usually goes by Ella, Elle, or Ellie. She hates her full name. Her great grandparents sometimes call her 'Dora, which she despises, since it sounds like a girl's name from the 1910s.
Katie has two house-elves, courtesy of her grandparents - one from either side. Their names are Liddy (female) and Ditty(male). Liddy looks after Katie and makes sure she eats, cleans, takes care of herself, though she is polite around others, in private gives Katie unsolicited advice on her life, much like her parents and grandparents. Ditty is generally in a good mood and is almost constantly humming or whistling a tune while going about his work around the house and pub kitchen. Both elves stay within Katie's quarters or the back part of the pub facilities. They sometimes go up to the roof, where there's a small roof garden.

What did this person do in the war?: Out of fear after the necklace curse, Katie did not feel it was her place to be on the front lines. She still was unsure if any effects from the curse would come back, resulting in loss of memory and felt it would be a dangerous place for someone who might not have all their wits about them. She continued treatment at St. Mungo's for as long as was needed, I'm thinking about 2 years, to fully recover. She worked with mind-healers, such like Daphne is now, I'm thinking. After finishing NEWTS at Hogwarts, she went into the wizarding equivalent of the Red Cross, brewing potions and making salves and working in the field, but not on the front lines. After that, she used some money from her parents to buy a pub where she was working. It had been going out of business, but Katie, wanting to save it and preserve wizarding culture, bought it and restored it. She lives above the pub, on the top flat, two of five floors - the bottom three are the pub and its offices. Dawn and O'Malley are two of the main bartenders that work in the pub and are pretty much always around.
Other Tidbits: Katie was a great student, excelling in Potions, Transfiguration, History, and DADA. She was also good at Arithmancy and Maths, Care of Magical Creatures, and Astrology. Though she didn't excel at them, she was not horrible at Charms and Herbology.
Katie is an Animagus, she's registered with the Ministry. She is a Siberian Husky dog with freckles on its nose, just as she has on her own human nose.
