Yesterday, a man came round to give us a quote for replacing our boiler - the old one isn't broken, but it's 20 years old, the bearing on the fan is going (we have hot air heating) and, as next door (who have the same as us) discovered recently, some of the parts are now obsolete. Typical! The bellinghman goes away for 4 days (*sob* *sniffle*) and within a couple of hours of him going, the adsl connection goes down! Eventually I got round to rebooting the server but the connect to Demon kept failing. The heaving cauldron of hot sex that was our fishpond is now full of frogspawn. Seems that the frogs are quite protective of their young, too.
