(Aye, I don't take any kind of exercise in sport, save some chess matches which I duly lose, if we consider the game of chess as a sport)

Oh, a tie? Well, that would explain the lack of noises and screams from the neighbourhood *grumbles like a sort of Mycroft Holmes*

Ah, I forgot to mention that I'm not surprised at all of your result in the English final - but you were great! :D

Hehe, now I have the image of a modern day Mycroft in my head! No, he wouldn't like this fuss at all! :D
Maybe we should turn this into a fic, eh? I'm sure we could find a Victorian equivalent to this insanity... :)

I was surprised, actually... I had not thought it was even possible to get full credit... Some teachers just don't do that... And the finals are corrected by people I don't even know :(
But it worked out all right! Yeah! :D

Fascinating idea! I could totally see a Mycroft Holmes mumbling and grumbling about some abnormal, strange and unique event which both disrupted his sacred routine and induced an unexplainable insanity among people...
:D

Aye, it worked, you were great! *clap clap clap* :D

Hmm... The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, maybe? From what I have heard and read, it was quite an event during those days, and it would cause a commotion amongst the public. It would require some further research, though. :D

Now all we have to do is write the fic ;)

Oh, it certainly would *deeply interested in the idea* I read that Queen Victoria had his Jubilee in 1897, if I am not mistaken -

... you'll write the fic, won't you? When you have the time to, that's fairly obvious.
*__*

Now that it is basically plotted, very probably. :D

As soon as I have time... Mycroft's POV will be a refreshing change. ^_^
