Tokyo was Kagrra's last destination for ~Unsanmusyo~ LIVE. Held at Toukyou Kousei Nenkin Kaikan, about 2,000 fans gathered excitedly. I met my online Kagrra fellow fan and her friend at Shinjuku West Exit at 5:30 pm. But I forgot the entire train station is damn HUGE >_< and on top of that, we haven't met before so even though we're at the same place, we still couldn't find one another until 30 mins later ^^';
We quickly boarded a bus, but we needed no other directions on where to alight. Japanese fan girls are decked out in their best attire, some in Cosplay and others in Goth or Yukata. Everyone was ushered in around 6:30 pm, and upon seeing the seats in the hall, my first feeling was 'This is so wrong! It's a LIVE! There shouldn't be seats in the first place! >_<' I thought I'm going to watch a Movie. My seat was in Row 20, SEAT 47, which was along the aisle and I could use my fan effectively for their songs without hitting anyone in front of me with it.
Kagrra appeared 10 mins later, with fan girls screaming out their favourite band member's name. Beside me, a Japanese girl was screaming her lungs out for Akiya, while her friend was doing the same for Shin. My friend was telling me that the fans are all over the place. Akiya fans couldn't band together to shout in unison for Akiya, and likewise for others. I'm an Akiya fan, more than Isshi now XD~ so I'm lucky to be on the Right side of the stage, where he's always at.
Kagrra kicked off with songs from their new CD album ~SAN~ and for the first time, I've seen Shin playing a Koto for 'Meguro'. It's beautiful, and he's very skillful. In one part, he was holding his guitar, which was slinging over his shoulder, with his left hand, while he played the Koto using his right hand. For 'Meguro' Isshi gave a Command word: 'Suware!' (The polite way to request is 'Suwate kudasai') LOL. All the fans immediately sat down. XD AND...For the second surprise of the night, Shin spoke a lot! :D
Isshi was as usual the compere for the group. He's extremely light-hearted and joke with us, perhaps because for the first time, Japanese fans as well as Kagrra are a little disoriented in such a larger venue than previous LIVEs. He kept teasing the fans by flipping his jacket, as if to take it off because the hall has become very warm. WTH, Just do it. :D~ I hate the waiting. But Isshi never did it in front of us, which's a pity. LOL.
He told us that even though it's a hall, we (our actions) should not be constraint by the Chairs because after all this is a LIVE. Well-said, and the next song did pumped us up (everyone was jumping in their seats) even though I felt this may not be the best climax, as compared to their previous LIVEs. He even said that he wanted to tell us a 'Himitsu' (secret), and all the fans were excited...He teased us by saying 'Well, maybe not' and we probed further, he replied 'Ah, maybe after all, I still want to say'. Then he said he doesn't want again =_______= because it's secret.
WTH, and they started playing the next song, which is Himitsu...so after all, there IS NO secret. >_< Don't you just love and hate him? >_____>
Akiya accidentally slipped up on a note in one song ^^';;; I wonder if anyone noticed that it's him XD~ However during the entire LIVE, he was trying to see the people at the far back and the second storey, by going up to a higher level on the stage. ^-^ I'm not too sure if he can see us, because we are in the dark. But at the end of the LIVE, he tried throwing glittering confetti to us. Unfortunately, it's a futile attempt XD~ Because the flakes are too light.
Nao has been rather quiet, except for the end of the LIVE where he said something about his iPOD which I didn't catch what he said properly and as for Izumi, I truly realised how *coughshortcough* he was when he stood beside Akiya and Isshi. XD~
Although this is my first time to their LIVEs, I was pretty nervous about the fans' hand actions that accompany the songs. But luckily, they are pretty easy to learn on the spot. We managed to use the fan for three songs, one of them was Kotodama, which is one of my favourite songs. As usual at almost every LIVE now, they have the fans singing "Sakura Mai Chiru Ano Oka De" close to the end of the song. I think we repeated for 5 times XD~ Especially for Tokyo LIVE, Kagrra presented a new song, with Isshi did a solo duet with a woman in Kimono
(Picture).
Throughout the LIVE, I'm totally mesmerised by Kagrra, and for the fact that I'm there to see them LIVE, my eyes well up with tears a couple of times while I watched them play. It's silly of me. But hearing ~SAN~ CD and now LIVE, is like listening to old Kagrra Indies songs, which I love so much over the new ones.
Like what Isshi said, "Old" Kagrra has certainly returned.
Now, I'm even more looking forward to Kagrra's AUGA Fan Club ONLY LIVE next Monday.
