I agree about Merlin. He was so happy, and it was because he just loved everyone. I feel that he set a really good example. I am pretty sure he knew that we all loved him. I think that at the same time as he loved everyone, he also just expected that everyone loved him.

I have the pawprint that the vet made, I wasn't sure when you'd like me to send it, but just let me know.

on a more upbeat note - i mailed you your birthday present! it should be there soon!!!!!

goodluck with your datas!

Noooo. T_T I'm so sorry. I'm certain he knew he was loved. He was such a special kitty.

Aw, I'm sorry about Merlin :( I'm sure he knew how much you (and your family) loved him..I think animals pick up on emotions so well that surely they must know.

I hope this doesn't come across as insensitive, but if you and John or maybe your family would like a cat, we have a really sweet one that gets picked on by the rest of ours. I think he'd do better in a one-cat family.

I always want a cat, but I don't think John and I could take very good care of it right now. And I didn't think it was insensitive at all. I appreciate you asking.

Ok, well if you ever change your mind, we'll still probably have him around :) He really is sweet, very cuddly and affectionate but a little bit shy.
