If it's filling up the inside of the house? Yes, that's bad. Try cleaning/replacing the vent hose.

I agree. I would check this first. It could be a buildup of lint in the dryer exhaust, which can ignite.

The problem with the magic smoke is that it can't ever go back in... that's bad. I suggest hiring a wizard to magic new smoke.
