5: Remembrance of the Lost [Voice]
Nov 02, 2009 12:38
Today is All Souls' Day. In my world, on this day we pray for those who have passed away. Does anyone else celebrate it?

I haven't heard of that day before. Do you do anything else for it?

Different places have different celebrations. Some areas have processions, for example. I would normally visit the church on this day.

I see....
Well, in any case, it at least sounds like a good idea to remember those gone before.

Indeed. I always think of my parents and my ancestors on this day.

I am no priest, but prayer is a way of conversing with God. It is something anyone can do.

Praying...
I wonder if... St. Elimine can hear me, from here.
[nods] I will, thank you. Is there anything else that I can do?

If there were a church here, I would attend it, but the important thing is remembering those who have passed on.

Really? How odd. I would have thought an angel would know, but they say there are many jobs performed by angels. Perhaps you are one less concerned with human affairs?

Yes, I didn't know much about humans until I was sent to Earth, or I came here.

To you, perhaps, but to myself and many of those in my world it is a very important day.

The dead are dead. There's no point in "honoring" that.

But the souls of the dead live on.
