[Simon has spent a few days studying, to make sure he asks about everything necessary, and now he's finally ready to take his survey. In truth, this isn't his strong area, but wants to do what he can to help, and despite his appearance, he can be quite an academic when he puts his mind to something.]
To the people of Luceti,
My name is Simon Belmont. On a request by Albert Silverberg, I would like to take a survey of the practical skills of the people here. Almost everything we need is provided for us, but that could change at any time. Therefore, I ask that you respond in detail, including your name, if you have any of the following skills:
Medicine (non-magical): Those capable of treating wounds, performing surgery, or curing disease without the use of magic.
Medicine (magical): Those capable of any of the above through the use of magic.
Herbalism: The use of magical or non-magical plants for medical or other purposes.
Alchemy or Chemistry: The ability to change one chemical or material to another, either by combining it with another or through other means.
Agriculture: The growing and care of plants, particularly the edible, or those with medicinal properties.
Cooking: The preparation of food.
Smithing: Forging of metal, particularly blacksmithing.
Carpentry: Woodworking. The building of houses, etc.
Tailoring: The making of clothing.
Other Crafts: Any other crafts that may prove useful, such as leather working.
Engineering: The building and maintaining of machines.
Advanced Scientific Knowledge: Knowledge of highly advanced science. My studies suggested that there are some worlds where people have vehicles that can leave the planet, or machines that can think.
Scholarship: A particular talent for studying and learning.
Physical Strength (beyond that of a normal human): The ability to lift or move extremely heavy things.
As a sign of good will, I will offer you my responses, first:
Herbalism: I know the use of a few basic herbs as protection, but I do not know much of their medicinal use.
Scholarship: I have spent much time studying my family history, and learning about the demons of my world. I have found that this experience applies to other studies as well.
