Interestingly enough, even though I've been writing Yuugao for a couple years now I've never, ever written her in her canon gender: female. Here's a first attempt. I'd totally recommend reading the other three fics listed, though maybe you should read mine first since I'm sure theirs are better...

*noms on you (nicely)* I like. I don't know anything about female!Yuugao, really, but I like this. And I want to see more.

The ending definitely lends to the idea that there will be more. :3

I laughed for some of this BB, which is an achievement given the subject matter! I loved Tenzou and Sai, seriously - they rang pretty true for the situation. I liked Yuugao's characterisation, and I love the idea of the ANBU as military and ex-military. The neat part was the emphasis on not letting her feet touch the ground for long, as if being in the tree was much defense.

Anyway! Enjoyed it muchly! Again I'll say, Sai and Tenzou were faves - but Yuugao had some solid touches in how you wrote her that made her a good focus for the piece.
