I got a Ferret Nation cage at petsmart! 36"x25"x62.5" high! That could fit so many ratties! It's totally worth the $200. The whole front of it opens for perfect cleaning. I don't have a pic of mine yet since it's still in the box, but it'll be decorated with pink fabric. I'm so excited.

It looks like good climbing fun for the ratties. Do you think they can escape from it though? Ratties are extremely clever little buggers. Perhaps you can put something on the bars to kind of reinforce things?

I know lots of people who have this cage, and there's no escaping for ratties. I wouldn't put baby rats in it, though.

How many ratties do you have?

I have 7. They don't all get along, though. I have Peekaboo living with Crinkle. Mudslide lives with Tequila. Then Oliver lives with the two spayed girls, Holly and Francisca. I'm still trying to decide who will live in the new cage. I'd prefer to put Oliver and the girls in it, but I'm not sure if Francisca is big enough for the bar spacing. I'm currently awaiting what people on the rat forum think. Plenty of them have FN cages so someone has to know how large or small a rat can be to live in it.
