Flirting can give you an insight into how that person might behave in a relationship. You can glean a lot of information about a person from their body language, posture, choice of words and movements. It's like another language if you actually take the time to learn what each of these phychologicaly induced actions actually mean, (for the majority of people).

Women seem to be geneticaly more inclined to being able to translate these messages. Our brains have been hardwired that way. Probably due to us needing to be able to understand the needs of children before they can talk properly.

Too right. Its the same with dancing. It is fun and an end in its own right. Not just some taudry prelude to sex. So many men seem to have a problem understanding that.
