True to my word, I've been working solely on cosplay for the last couple of weeks. It's kind of sad that when I stab myself with pins, the first thought is "Don't bleed on the costume!" and not "It hurts!" o_O. Progress is slow but I think I'm getting there. I think part of the reason it's slow is because of my inexperience and the other is my ( Read more... )

EasyPop Vocaloid Tracks ext_700122 July 6 2011, 14:06:02 UTC
Oh, another EasyPop admirer. I love electronic, such as Kraftwerk and Daft Punk so the discovery of EasyPop opened up the new world of Vocaloid for me. Back to the album, Dance Music Technology has to be my favourite track, and Part Night the one that stick in your head. ♥

Nice journal by the way. It's bookmarked now, so I have read on.

Thanks for visiting my humble journal, I'm quite the vocaloid fan and I tend to sample stuff from Nico Nico Douga and scope out some album releases. For me, I got into electronic music more from listening to vocaloid songs.

EasyPop writes nice and catchy melodies, if he'd vary the sounds he uses, I think his songs would stand out a lot more. I do recommend Emon, #8Prince and kz(livetune)'s music if you like that type. Another favourite producer of mine is millstones because his music is a wonderful blend of electronic sounds, realistic strings set to a drum 'n' bass rhythm and jazz style chords and transitions.

Thanks for the artist suggestions. This is quite helpful because, as you know, there is almost an overload of Vocaloid material available now, so where could one begin? EasyPop is a great start to the party (for me anyway) as Luka seems to be the one Vocaloid I prefer. Vocaloid is perhaps the pinnacle of electronica, even Kraftwerk has human vocalists.

There is a lot of vocaloid stuff out there and getting started can be rather daunting ^_^;;. I think a good place to start is the Exit Tunes Vocalo- series of compilations because they usually cover all the popular ones and is a great source for the classic vocaloid songs that everybody knows. Vocalonation was out a couple of days ago and Easypop's Happy Synthesisers is on it as well as lots of other great tracks ( ... )
