Ooh, I hadn’t thought before about how many red flags MacLeod would raise as a controlling abusive personality type. Which is kind of appallingly hilarious because of how horrified he’d be at the notion that he would hurt any of the people under his protection. And Methos would just be like, this is why you need to change with the times.

And the BAU do not tend to give potential unsubs the benefit of the doubt when it comes to those types of red flags. Especially when both Tessa and Richie died by violence, and could either be early victims or trigger events for later killings.
