I've "met" people online who have done that - not for years though, at least not that I saw. I think it's very sad actually.

Now me, I could never even pull off being someone else online. I left an anonymous comment once and was contacted by the person and asked if it were me. I asked how they knew it was me? They said, "your voice just came through"
