I just got done listening to Grace Jones' new album "Hurricane".

WHOA!

Just WHOA!

I'm a friend of scream4noreason's (well, an LJ friend; we've never crossed paths) - which is how I found your LJ.

You've seen "Corporate Cannibal", right?

That's the only other track I'd heard off the album - paired with "I'm Crying", now I have to have this album.

Corporate Cannibal, in my opinion, is probably the weakest track on this album. This is seriously THE SHIT!! LOL

I'm sure he'll love this record if he's already a fan. This is vintage Grace.

I do NOT illegally download. Obviously, it's something that is killing my industry. While Bandit pointed me in the right direction to get it from an English site, I no longer have an active credit card (damn this economy and the forces that are killing my industry. I justified dowonloading this because I would definitely buy it when released anyhow. Not to mention I would push it at a retail level anyhow. Soooo good!

Indeed. They have created all sorts of problems.

I've had customers asking for the new Aretha Franklin Christmas album for two months yet it had not been solicited in my new release books. I just found out yesterday that apparently it's a Barnes & Noble exclusive. What the fuck?

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I cannot believe it's not getting a US release yet.
