As many of you, at least... the people that read my journal, know-- I have money problems. I've been looking for a part time job to help me out with that recently

Thanks. I know it's a crappy thing to just lay on people, so I probably should have blocked comments so that people wouldn't feel obligated to reply, but I called every one of my friends and they were all busy or not answering the phone and I just needed to... I don't know, let it out, I guess.
I am so sorry and wish I could throw money your way, but sadly I can't! My hubby and I had to go back to living with my parents right after we got married *hides head in shame* and just 6 months ago were able to move out.
I don't know how some people do it. I really don't. I feel for ya. *big hugs*
Oh, God no! Don't even feel like you should help me. There are so many people out there that have it worse, and I'm feeling like a horrible brat for being upset when so many people out there are losing their jobs, and here I am, crying because my hours are cut. At least I'm still getting paid something.
Now that I've had more time to think, maybe I can just turn this into something better. One door closes, you know?
My sister is pregnant and lives a couple hours away from me and she's been wanting me to move close to her. The only thing that was holding me back from doing so was this job, so maybe this was some sort of cosmic sign that I need to just be near her.
Thank you for your support. I really appreciate it.
Thanks for the support. As weird as it sounds, even though we don't personally know each other, it feels good to get well wishes.
I'm hoping that this can be a blessing just hidden under a particularly hideous coat. I admit to feeling pretty hopeless when I wrote that, but I've had time to digest the news and make some phone calls and set some things in motion since then. I really have no right to feel so bad about it. I'm one of 23 people going through the same thing, and maybe they have it worse, you know? I've been in worse situations and pulled through. I just need to dust off my go-getter boots and make this turn out for the best.
Oh good! It scares me when people on my f-list cry. I want to go huggle them and make them cookies. Instead I'll give you some fic. You've probably read this before, but it's still cuddly fluff.
I'm so so sorry, luv. I understand what it's like to be stretched to the limit then have to try to stretch some more. It feels like you'll break. It takes a lot of courage to have to swallow your pride and move back to your parents, but you WILL get back on your feet again, ok? That's terrible about your kitties, do you have a friend that will take them in while you sort things out? I hope you find a really brilliant full-time job soon!
Thank you-- for the niceness and all. It's only a little over an hour later, and already things aren't looking as bleak as they were. It helps to know people are rooting for you. I think I just needed to give myself time to accept it, I have, now I just need to deal with it, which I'm working on.
((hugs)) My heart aches ~ I send you all my best wishes - The state of the economy is just darn right scary - I've not been able to work since 2006 - & I it is hard to imagine what I would do if I had just been starting out on my own -
Thank you... and what a cute pic! I would like a purse like that!
I'm feeling much better now. So many people are doing so much worse than I am, and even if I have to go back to my parents' house... at least I have a place to go at all. I'm going to have to 'silver lining' my way through this one, but it wouldn't be the first time. My parents lived through a recession... I can do it too! Much love to you Helayne, I shouldn't even be complaining about anything when you and others have other, more important and pressing issues than I do. Here's to your health! (((((((huggles)))))))
