I went to the doctor today. She suggested that I get on birth control pills.
Later in the evening I told my mom. Her response? "But why would you need to get birth control pills???
Moms are so silly.

My mom sort of skipped around the situation in the way only mothers can. After my mom asked me why I needed them, she casually added on "you're not loose are you"?
She knows I don't have a boyfriend at the moment, so either A) she thinks I'm a whore or B) She thinks I'm a virgin. Although I am neither, I'd rather her believe I was of the latter. LOL. This MAY have worked if my brother hadn't chipped in "She's so loose a guy has to tie a 4x4 board onto him or else he'll fall in." Brothers can be pains in the ass.

I'm sorry your mom freaked out. Why do us females have to go through things like this??? Not only do we worry about the possibility of ever getting pregnant (unplanned) but we also have to worry about informing our mothers of our decided responsibility to TAKE contraceptives. Would having a penis make things any easier in life??
