Aside from being a bit cold and rather (okay, very) hungry, though, he seems like he got off unscathed from his month-long stay at Hotel Malnosso.

That is, until he opens his mouth sounding like Benedict Cumberbatch. He hasn't changed his quirky speech patterns or anything;

[CRITTERPUFF! Robin's been concerned. He first spots Pommy near the grocery store and approaches from behind, offering a banana from a high shelf. Pommy always seems to be interested in food; why would today be any different?]

How're you feeling?

[Pommy's eyes light up when he sees Robin. Or the banana. One or the other. Or both.]

Oh, hi, Robin! Pommy's feeling fine, myu.

[Well then, Robin will gladly kneel down so it's easier to reach. Though he'll stop for a minute to evaluate DAT VOICE.]

Are.. you sure? You sound like you've got a cold.

[He takes the banana and begins peeling it. With his round, fingerless paws. Somehow.]

No...the Malnosso did something weird to Pommy's voice. Pommy doesn't know why.

[Anise is at the bakery when she catches sight of the cute critter. She waves at once, grinning wildly.]

Pommy! I haven't seen you in awhile!

[Pommy returns the grin and the wave.]

The Malnosso did something weird to Pommy's voice! It wasn't like this before! [Obviously.]

[Oh Pommy, Peach missed you so much! She rushes to his side.]

Ah, Pommy, is that you? I'm so glad you are OK!

Myu, hi, Peach! Pommy's glad to be back -- it was kind of boring over there with the Malnosso guys!

[Peach can't help but tilt her head to the size, looking at Pommy in a rather... confused way.]

Hmm... Pommy... what happened to your voice?

Pommy doesn't know, myu. The Malnosso must've done something to it, Pommy thinks. It wasn't like this until Pommy woke up back in the village!

[Leave it to Kazooie to notice Pommy in a routine Glide-by of the village's rooftops. She'd honestly been worried... a month is a long time to be gone.

So she alights near Pommy immediately, grin wide.]

[Pommy's a little startled when Kazooie lands beside him, but he's happy to see her.]

Yup! It wasn't so bad being with the Malnosso.

[... Seriously. That is really really weird coming out of someone so small and fluffy-looking.]
