Justice Served?

So it finally happened, Lori Drew, one of the most despicable people alive, is being charged.

For those of you who don't know, she's the woman who posed as a young boy for the soul purpose of contacting a 13 year old girl, named Megan Meier, to try to teach her a lesson for the arguments with her daughter. She sent a message saying "I don''t know if I want to be friends with you anymore because I've heard that you are not very nice to your friends." Along with a series of bulletins saying things like "Megan Meier is fat" and "Megan Meier is a slut." The worst message was one telling Megan the world would be a better place without her.

This really angers me every time I read it. It's one thing for teenagers to mess with each other, but when an adult gets involved, it's disgusting. It's hard enough to be a teenager, much less an overweight girl with self-esteem problems....Then to have an ADULT, a GROWN PERSON chime in to help build up some self-esteem to crash it down.

Megan Meier was a child who was targeted by a vicious prank, the family who created it said they did it to find out of she was gossiping about her former friend. Parents are supposed to try to keep their kids out of arguments and teach them conflict resolution, not try to help them get pay back.

This woman is immature and overall a terrible person. I can't get over the idea of going out of your way to try to crush someone's spirit, and a teenage girl's one on top of that.

I hope they're able to carry out these charges, and I hope she spends time behind bars, that's where she belongs. In my eyes, she's a murderer. One of the others involved admitted she was part of it and admitted guilt, I hope Lori Drew feels that guilt too. I pray for her soul, because from all the evidence I've seen, it's hard to even believe she has one.
