I have been trying to make a list of things that make me happy and are (for lack of a better phrase) "reasons to live." Anyone have any ideas other than just naming people who care about me and want me to keep living? The job really isn't doing it right now. Thanks and HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Bicycles, fancy Belgian beer, doing handstands, talking about obscure and pretentious-sounding philosophical matters ...is that a good start? :)

Reason - the Telos (goal/purpose) of man according to Plato; or in less pretentious terms, conversation, interaction, education, consideration, learning; reading, writing, speaking, listening.

Also: sunsets, rainy days, the next person you're going to fall in love with, puppies, cuddles, and all that oozy, cheesy, awful, wonderful, hallmark BS ;).
