What a day! Again we got up early to catch the bus from CdP to Grosetto, and then took the 2-hour train trip to Rome! The trip was unevenful with lots of scenery along the way. I think that trains are definitely better than the buses for travel over any distance in Italy ( Read more... )

Yesterday was a fun day; Elisa and I took a long walk along a jetty here. It was somewhat stormy and overcast and the waves were breaking against the rocks. Laundromat washing machines can be very scary when in the spin-dry cycle.

USB headsets do not exist in Italy, or at least at the single electronics place here in Castiglione. I am looking for something to improve the Skype functionality of my laptop since I sat on my little Ipevo wi-fi skype phone.
